How it Works

When clothes come in from donations, we use an AI sorting method to categorize them.

  • The "Bronze" Box (Bread & Butter): Brands like Old Navy, Target, H&M, Zara, or unbranded basics. These are great for beginner resellers to practice on.

  • The "Silver" Box (Mid-Tier Favorites): Nike, Adidas, Levi's, Lululemon, Madewell.

  • The "Gold" Box (The Jackpot): Vintage 90s band tees, designer bags, high-end sneakers, luxury labels.

The Ground Rules:

  1. The 72-Hour Rule: All items must be photographed, edited onto a white background, and listed online within 3 days of receiving them.

  2. The Link Check: As soon as an item is live, the reseller must text or email the link so we can verify the quality and track it.

  3. The Promotion Rule: Everyone starts at Bronze. Prove that you can list fast and take crisp, studio-white photos on your first 10 basic items, and I will instantly bump you to Silver for the next batch so you can get the higher-end brands.

When a reseller is ready for a new batch, we look at their tier on our spreadsheet. For Example: If Sarah is Silver, we hand her the Silver box.

BUT

For Example: If Mike keeps posting dark, unedited photos and taking a week to list them, his score drops, and he stays at Bronze. If Sarah uses the Photoroom app and gets her items live within 48 hours, she moves up.

Lastly, you are paid directly once the item sells.

The Onboarding & eBay Integration

Once you review the Thriftr Handbook, you will receive an official invitation to join our network through eBay’s Multi-User Account Access.

  • Your Permissions: You will be granted specific team permissions, including the ability to create and manage listings.

  • Real-Time Tracking: Because you are integrated into the system, you will receive automatic notifications the exact second an item goes live and when it successfully sells. No guesswork, no waiting for a monthly report.

We keep our fee structure incredibly simple. Admin only deducts a flat 10% from the item's final sold price.

  • No Fee Stuffing: We never touch the shipping costs or sales taxes. If an item sells for $10, our platform takes exactly $1. You keep the rest of your split.

The Subtotal Breakdown Example:

  • Item Sold Price: $10.00 (Our 10% fee is calculated strictly from this number)

  • Shipping Cost: $5.00

  • Sales Tax: $0.80

  • Total Buyer Paid: $15.80

  • Our Admin Deduction:$1.00 (Not $1.58!)

Every item you receive from our local textile hub comes with a detailed AI Condition & Market Report.

  • The AI Suggestion: The AI will analyze the garment's brand, style, and condition to give you a recommended, data-backed listing price.

  • Your Ultimate Choice: The AI report is just a guide—you hold the steering wheel. You have full control over the selling format (Auction vs. Buy It Now) and the exact prices you want to set based on your own reselling expertise. You are even encouraged to try live selling.

To build trust with global buyers and maximize your sales velocity, our network honors a standard 30-day return policy.

  • How Returns are Handled: In the event that a buyer returns an item, the refunded amount will simply be deducted from your daily payout balance if and when they occur.
